Houston Rockets star James Harden may miss the start of the NBA season due to a breach of health protocol during a pandemic, ESPN reporter Tim McMahon reported.
A video appeared on the social network showing Harden in a strip club. According to NBA rules, in order to avoid the risk of infection, basketball players are forbidden to visit bars, clubs predicted by live sport events and other places where more than 15 people gather.
According to McMahon, Houston is working with the NBA to investigate the recording and establish the date of the photos. If it is confirmed that the video was shot recently, sanctions may be imposed on the basketball player. Harden had previously been charged with violating sanitary protocol. The basketball player visited nightclubs in Las Vegas during a training camp. The League then asked Harden to test for coronavirus for six days before training. The regular season of the NBA began last night. Houston will play their first game tonight against Oklahoma City. Harden is the most useful player in the NBA for 2017/2018 and an eight-time participant in the All-Star Game.
