Ralf Schumacher commented on Ferrari`s failure to qualify for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.


Scuderia put intermediate tires on Charles Leclerc`s car in the third segment. The rest of the racers went to the track on slicks, as a result, the Monegasque did not show the time and became the tenth.


This year, Ferrari has always managed to make mistakes in situations where it could. And when there was an opportunity to do something well, they were also wrong, - said the German Sky expert and former Formula 1 driver.


The Maranello team has split strategies between Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, according to Ferrari racing director Laurent Mequies. Schumacher was not satisfied with this explanation:


This excuse is too weak, in my opinion. All competitors did well.


The team needs to change some things. If things stay the same, I don`t see much hope. This season had the potential to fight for the championship. The car was fast, but Ferrari managed to squeeze the minimum out of it.


Urgent changes are needed among the leadership, otherwise the situation will become difficult. Something must change.
