Fix match The pilot will simply lose the fastest lap time. Zach Brown proposed the option of a fine for accidents in qualifying

McLaren chief executive Zack Brown has proposed a penalty option for pilots who, by their actions, cause yellow or red flags in qualifying.
Previously, Carlos Sainz urged the FIA to consider penalizing drivers who ruin other drivers` quick qualifying attempts.
In other series, the solution already exists. The pilot (who makes a mistake that ends the session) simply loses his fastest lap time. After all, all pilots need to drive at least one lap in each segment. And the pilot for such a mistake can be fined like this - and it doesn`t matter whether he intentionally made a mistake or not. After all, with your actions you still spoiled someone`s fast lap.
This is a very simple solution to the problem, you can apply it right away. You forced the other pilot to slow down - you lose your lap, you will need to complete another one. Maybe you can`t do it. Or you may need to use an extra set of tires. In any case, this is the simplest solution to this problem, Brown said.
