Washington forward Kristaps Porzingis is unlikely to leave the team anytime soon.


According to Bleacher Report`s Eric Pinkus, the Wizards are determined to keep Porzingis, who is having a great season.


The Latvian basketball player can use the player option for the 2023/24 season ($36 million) or sign a new long-term contract with a pay cut.


This season, Porzingis is averaging 22. 7 points, 9. 1 rebounds and 1. 6 blocks per game, shooting 34. 7% from behind the arc.
