AS:Barca got along with Palmeiras for Jerry Mina

Spanish Grand Barcelona has activated the option to buy the rights of Colombian central defender of Palmeiras Jeri Mina, AS said. Jeri Mina currently plays at the Brazilian club. The 23-year-old defender is expected to join the Catalans by the end of the month, with Los Cules paying 9m euros to Palmeiras. Barca`s initial idea was to wait for the summer to attract the footballer, but Samuel Umtiti`s injury and ambiguity over Javier Mascherano, who may soon be leaving Camp Nou, has led the los coules leadership to speed up the transfer. According to AS, the club via soccer tips records has already given the green light to directors Pep Segura and Robert Fernandez to finalize Mina`s personal arrangements with the idea of Colombian national joining the team before the end of December. Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has also given his consent to the transfer, according to the Spanish edition. Yari Mina will be the second (the allowed number is three) player with the status of a non-EU player in Barca (the other one is Paulinho), which means that the transfer will not prevent the bowler box from trying to sign and withthe midfielder of Gremio Arthur.
